I've got a very big year ahead, and with your fantastic support I'm really confident about achieving some significant results this season. My first season in the very competitive Moto2 class and I can't wait for that first race under the floodlights in Qatar.

I can't believe I'm starting my sixth season in grand prix racing, and without a doubt it's the most important so far. I've so enjoyed racing in the 125cc World Championship and have learnt so much, but now it's time to move on and face these fresh challenges. I'm joining the very experienced and motivated French-base Tech 3 team. I'm in very good hands and we are already working well together long before the season starts.

Without your help and encouragement on the way none of this would be possible. The best possible way to thank you all for your support is to start winning grands prix and push towards our ultimate goal, the Moto2 World title.

I promise both myself and the team will be putting everything into fulfilling both those ambitions. These are very exciting times for all of us.
