Chris Berriman, 'Riders for Health' Ebay Auction

Posted on Oct 10, 2012 by George Penny

Chris Berriman, from one of Bradley's long term sponsors (Merit Merrell) will be joining the Riders for Health team and other like minded people for a ride through Zambia.

Chris wants to see directly the impact and the help that the Riders charity provides for the people of Africa. To help raise awareness and funds for the cause, Chris has put up for auction two amazing items of MotoGP Memorabilia.

The first item, is from our favouirite rider 'Bradley Smith' and is a signed pit-shirt from the start of his career with the Polaris World Aprillia Team when he contested in the 125cc Championship
and finished 6th in 2008.

Bradley will also sign to personalise the shirt (to the winning bidders name, for example, or whatever message you would prefer), and I will also include a photograph of Bradley signing the shirt for authenticity, so a very personal service included! You can bid on this item here

The second item, is from the current MotoGP World Champion 'Casey Stoner' from his time racing with Ducati.
You won't get many chances to get a Casey Stoner signed Ducati shirt and there is probably no chance of getting another signed!

Riders for Health
Formed back in 1986, Riders for Health (Riders) makes efficient, consistent health care delivery possible in some of the world’s most remote areas by providing reliable, cost-effective transportation solutions for health workers reaching out to rural communities in sub- Saharan Africa.

The service is crucial to the work of any health-related organisation that serves rural villages. Without running vehicles to cover the long distances, health care, drugs and health education cannot be reached by the most isolated and vulnerable.

Most of these disadvantaged children live off unbelievably bad roads. Riders enables us to get to these communities’.

Please visit the webpage; http://www.riders.org and see how the people of Africa benefit from the work of this not-for-profit organization.
