No respite for british riders - Aperol Grand Prix of San Marino & The Riviera of Rimini

Just five days after racing at Indianapolis in America the British riders will start practicing for the Aperol Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini on the Adriatic coast of Italy on Thursday morning.

Both Bradley Smith and Scott Redding will be looking to consolidate on their excellent Moto2 riders across the Atlantic when they arrive at round 11 of the Championship. Twenty year old Smith finished fourth riding the Tech 3 machine with Gloucestershire teenager Scott Redding just one place behind in the race won by Spaniard Marc Marquez. Oxfordshire –based Smith is involved in a tremendous battle for third place in the Championship. He currently lies sixth with six rounds remaining but only four points behind third placed Italian Andrea Iannone.
